Do you hate it already?

Well, like I said on my previous light review of Firefox 3, this one thing driven me nut; the new ALLFRIKENMIGHTY address bar. It’s completely useless, the letter-per-letter matching system, along with the Title on priority list, is really pointless, since it’s a place to type a URL ADDRESS and it is NOT a SEARCH BAR. So, how to make the new address bar back to the classic / old style?

I checked on Beta Firefox 3 forum about this, it was solved with the setting on about:config — url.browser…. something something, which no longer works on the final FF3.

Thank God, sspitzer created this add-on for us, called OldBar 1.2 (which works for all with final FF3 version now)

This is the best add-on I found so far for Firefox 3 … yet =)
