Finally the USB upgrading itself. Yes, it’s faster than before — like 10 times faster. USB 3.0 can transferring 27 GB of data in 70 seconds.

In the picture above, you can see how it looks like. Not really a brand new look, which is good. The left-side is the fat one, which is often used for a printer port, and the right-side is the normal one.

There’s also the mini-USB 3.0 (the picture bellow), which is look like a small HDMI cord.

The other thing is the power management options that will let you save more power-consumption if you’re using a laptop. Generally, USB keeps checking its connection with the PC periodically, even it’s in stand-by mode, which no longer happens with USB 3.0.

It is also compatible with the USB 2.0 devices.
