Toshiba Portege R500 just never loses the sexiness. I was fall in love with this laptop year ago, and I’m still now. The only problem was — and is the price. Yeah, I’m a poor… unpleasant poor… dammit.

So, Toshiba announced the new series of R500-S5007V, where the main highlight falls under the storage category. It comes with 128 GB SSD (the first?), following by the others such as: Core Duo U7700, 1.33 GHz, 2GB RAM, and the battery that up to 7.5 hours, which is quite fantastic for a 12.1″ Laptop. Oh, it’s only 0.77″ thick — still sexy.

All of this sexiness will cost you $3000; while even I can’t afford it (dammit - again) I’m thinking it’s worth it. Versus MacBook Air, which also around that price and thinness, if we can ignore the “But It’s a MAC!!” philosophy for a while, Portege R500 is definitely way better on specs and features.
