simply fun reviews for all today’s news and technologies

So, the Dell Mini Inspiron that was accidentally busted by GizmoTeam while ago, were making (maybe) an official announcement on its specs and release date.
The only reason I’m not really sure whether this is 100% valid, just because the pictures and slide shows presentation, which sent to Engadget team, are suck and poorly designed.
Hey, don’t blame me, I’m just gathering the info =)
This upcoming product from Dell, apparently is not only that one 8.9″ Laptop which we believed before, but also coming with the 12.1″ — and both of them will be called as Dell - E, for sale approximately around this August and later.
The 8.9″ version will classified into 3 categories, Dell E-Classic, E-Video, and E-Video+ (plus) — which the differences are only based on RAM and Storage capacity.
The 12.1″ called as Dell E-Slim, and divided into Dell E-Slim and E-Slim+ (plus) — based on the processor speed, SSD / Bigger HDD, as well as the RAM.
While for the specs for Dell-E 12.1″ is slightly different and have more options such as:
9 hours of battery life on 6-cells is just… too good to be true. Well, the Silverthorne is indeed, dedicated for ultra low consumption PC, using single core, but I just never expecting it will be through Nine ****ing hours…
These two UMPCs are placing them selves against EEE PC Series and other ultra-portable Notebooks, including MacBook Air (ow yeah!); however, all now depends on their performance, which is still unsure beside the fact that the specs above might be change along the way.
The current announcement says that the Dell E-Classic will be priced at $299 (starting price), and I think it will goes up to somewhere $600 (for 8.9″) — no idea for the 12.1″ one.
In any case, the previous UMPCs / Mini Laptop Comparison might be used for our consideration to buy one for ourselves over the plenty of choices.
Me? I choose to wait… Either this, or go for EEE PC 1000.
I’m a patient guy… very patient — so, love me guys ^o^
