simply fun reviews for all today’s news and technologies

Don’t judge book laptop by its cover.
Dell released the Artist Edition for Inspiron 1525 (15.4″) series (artist: Mike Ming) with an awesome cover design. It’s been a while since this kind of work jumped into the market, so I’m just going to do a small overview around this tacky laptop (Sea Sky).
Did I just say tacky?
Unorthodox, adventurous contemporary art meets on-the-go technology with the inaugural Special Art Edition Inspiron 1525 laptop, featuring two exclusive artworks by Mike Ming.
Choose from “Bunch O Surfers” or “Sea Sky,” two unique designs that reflect Mike Ming’s quest to create art that relates to broad audiences, yet speaks directly to everyone.
It is indeed beautiful, however the target is more into the youngster, since adult life is pretty dull and boring (right?). This is the picture of Bunch O Suffer edition.

That also reminds me, that HP also just released Artist Edition Laptop, for their dv2800t which is more.. elegant in my opinion, and it’s in 14.1″ Widescreen series.

So, it’s obvious that HP is kind of more expensive (from $979) than Inspiron one (from $699). For you who interested to peek more of their specs, visit Dell and HP websites.
As a footnote, you can also create your own Art Laptop, by using skin that covered your casing. You can try to check around this website, and who knows someday you can order based on your own design.
But believe me, putting your girl/boy-friend picture on your laptop is a very bad idea.
