Related to the previous post about Acer Aspire One, now this mini-laptop gets official. The screen indeed, is going to be 8.9 inch, with 1024×600 LED backlit display. Using Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, with the DDR2 starts from 512MB (not sure what’s the maximum capacity, 2GB ?)

It has integrated 1.3 MP webcam, and also various ports, Multi-Format media reader, Ethernet, 3 USB 2.0 ports, etc etc, you can guess.

The storage comes on 80 GB standard HDD (for XP), and only 8GB SSD (for linux). The battery will last up to 5 hours with 6-cell battery, and weighted for 2.2 pounds.

Pretty much that’s it. I’m not sure about this laptop since I’m not an Acer’s fan, because I had a nightmare dealing with Acer’s laptop TWICE in the past. Mostly because of the noise, and poor heat-management system, and poor battery life.

Not sure whether they improved since after, let’s just wait for the review given by various sources later on.
