Hollister Staff

It should be my 3rd year living in United States. I live in seacoast area, New Hampshire to be exact. It’s close with Boston, MA — which is like an hour drive from here.

Well, there are two types of employees here, Temp and Permanent.

Basically, either you’re hired and working directly with the company, or working in a company through Agency. Needless to say, working through agency is somewhat easier since it’s them who will look up the job for you, while in the other hand, they will pay you less =)

In my State, most of positions and job fields are in factory line. Either assembling, machine operator, which mostly requiring our muscles to work. That’s what I do now, and I’m getting tired of it.

I’m a graphic designer basically, and I’m looking forward for a suitable position for myself, but it’s almost impossible to find this field in NH, even through many Agencies. I’ve tried…

Few days ago, my friend told me about moving to Boston - since there are more offers in that place. He also told me about this work agency, called Hollister. Boston Jobs are their main scope, and their networks are basically dealing with collar’s instead of T-shirt, jeans and sneaker’s workers. Yep, office work.

I looked up for Graphic Design jobs related field, and they mostly have the offers. There are plenty of choices actually, as you can look it up yourself, from IT, Management, Software, Database, Tech Support, and many more.

The good thing is, they are not only offer us the Temporary position which most of agency does, but they also work to find an opportunity in temp-to-hire, or even direct-hire for us.

Massachusetts looks promising as for now I know there are many opportunities to fight. Well, but I have to move to that state at the first place -_- which is might be little difficult for now; but for Massachusetts Unemployment, get a grip for yourself and see how Hollister can help you.
