simply fun reviews for all today’s news and technologies

Nokia: Supernova series, was officially announced recently, and they have 4 models within this series: 7210, 7310, 7510 and 7610. I don’t really know why they fall under the same category, Supernova, since their designs are basically different with each other.
Officially said that XPress Yourself is one reason why you should have this cellphone, since you can customizing your cellphone according to your mood and style with exchangeable Xpress-On covers with vary options of colors. Some people assume it’s targeting toward women only, which actually not.
It’s a good choice for both gender. Here’s the quote from press-release.
Aimed at style conscious men and women who want to stay connected,
So basically, that’s the main strong-selling-point from this series. It doesn’t mean the phone’s quality suck, so here’s the wrap up overview.

This is the best (most expensive) from Supernova’s series. Slider phone with 3.2MP camera resolution (the highest res in this series) along with the 8x digital zoom plus LED Flash light. It has also the TV out port, FM tunner, MP3 player. It’s available around the third quarter of 2008 for around EUR 225 (approx - $350).
Battery: 5 hours 40 minutes talk time, 300hrs standby (Li-ion 860 mAh)
The X-press On options: Steel Blue and Red

This one is Flip style. Featuring 2MP camera, and also NIPS, LED flashlight and 4x digital zoom make this phone is not really bad. But wait, Nokia is quite proud with other features brought by this 7519, which are hidden-until-lit display, reminder light and push-to-open button on the side case.
I’m not sure whether you need to press that button to open this flip-phone, or that’s only a bonus feature, or I completely got the wrong impression. Same goes to the hidden-until-lit display. The mini screen on the cover, will remains hidden until there’s an activity.
Perhaps those white rectangles on this picture tried to illustrated how it looks. Pretty cool, I like it.

The other things within this cellphone are: 512 MB microSD Memory, GPS Support and 2.2 inch QVGA screen. This cellphone will available on the fourth quarter, for about EUR 180 (approx $280).
Battery: About 6 hours talk time - 300 hrs stand by (Li-ion 870 mAh)
X-Press On options: Blue, Red, Emerald Green, Espresso Brown.

Nokia released this slim & sleek phone for candybar lover. Yet, it’s also featuring the most options for the skin (X-press On). The features included: 2 MP Camera, 4x digital zoom, TV out, IM, FM RDS radio and MP3 player. Not really an outstanding phone, and might be bit over-priced at EUR 155 (approx $240).
This simply designed cellphone is available in second quarter this year.
Battery: About 4 hours talktime, 300 hrs stand by (Li-ion 860 mAh)
X-press On options: Wasabi Green, Candy Pink, Mushroom Silver, Plum Jam, Electric Blue, Yellow Mellow and Espresso Brown colors.

The cheapest, and also the last series from Supernova. 7210 also comes with 2MP camera plus 4x digital zoom. Nothing really special within this phone, the features such as: Music player (MP3, Midi, ACC, ACC+, eACC+, WMA), Yahoo! Go (email, weather, news), Flickr Upload and other common things are basically what you get.
