Being rumored to be the best rival for iPhone. Some place called this thing as “The Next 3G iPhone.” Okay…

Indeed, this new model from HTC is drawing so many public attention (especially you), starts from its appearance, until all the functions and features. What entertained me most is the TouchFlo 3D feature. The touch screen is not only work as the medium between you and the information, but also designed to entertains you. Almost every action that you do, will be accompanied with sweet and smooth animation from this Diamond.

About the interface, I’m not sure that everyone knows, but I think some of you might know this PC-software called Vista Aero (yeah, funny…) It’s pretty much like that; the picture gallery feature for example.

You will see those pictures, flipping one by one, just like if you’re enjoying the classic photo album. Not just picture, but also other things, like music? Resembles to new iPod Nano (the album Cover Art selection)

But unfortunately, it’s not a WalkMan Phone; even that’s not the main reason, this Diamond doesn’t have 35mm Jack Phone. So…

Weather gadget (I always love weather gadget)

By using Windows Mobil 6.1, like declaring the victory, Opera Mobile is owning this Diamond instead of Internet Exploder 6 for Mobile; they said, it’s just not ready yet (“I’m too busy fixing XPSP3 right now!”)

Equipped with 3.2 MP camera, however it only has 65k colors on it’s 480 x 640 TFT touchscreen. Compared with Nokia that has 16M colors profile, but hey, resolution does matter. Beside the battery life is crucial to handle all these features, it’s also slim. Slimmer than iPhone!

Even HTC said that the battery life is better than the previous model HTC Touch, it still doesn’t beat iPhone with 8 hours Talk Time (technically).

QuadBand, GPS, WiFi and 3G is all you can ask for now.

Unlike iPhone. In UK, this Diamond will be available for all 5 mobile providers. Will available in UK and Asia by this June 2008. Not sure about the price and release date in USA, but it will.
