Apple iPhone 2.0

Last Friday, the new iPhone 3G was officially for sale. Well, as expected, tons of heavily obessed fanboys and girls were stuck on the line for days in front of the Apple store, say in Japan, New Zealand and some other countries.

It is definately much better, or should I say worse, compared to the Black Friday on Thanksgiving day. In Japan, the line started to summoned on Wednesday, that’s about 2 days before the released date — you can check it on Akihabara report along with the pictures.

The photo bellow is the guy who was successfully placed his butt on the first spot on the line. He got famous by this event of course, as the future first iPhone 3G owner in Japan, ahahaha.

Aside from all of these madness, there are some cases appeared arround the iPhone 3G debut. Well, hundreds articles of the new iPhone 3G scattered around the web, so I’ll just sumarized them.

  • What most of us already heard of, there was an activation problem arise due to the first day of release. Major buyer found the error while they were trying to activate / (firmware) update the phone at home, using iTunes.
  • Because of this incident, somehow, the selling price for classic iPhone is raising.
  • Not sure for what causing it, but on Friday, the iTunes 7.7 download page was down as well. Could it be some kind of iTraffic Jam? xD
  • This lunatic blender guy already blended the new iPhone 3G
  • Comes with about… 500 applications?
  • The LCD has the warmer tone compared with the classic iPhone. Check here.
  • Faster and Better? Sure does. Either the apps accessed faster, the reception for iPhone 3G is also better. Gizmodo wrapped up the review for this new brick, check it up.
  • Apparently the White iPhone is not really well-selling, since people were rather to spend 100$ more on the upgraded 16GB version of black, rather than to buy the white one. Do you?

So, for either of you are the future buyers, or the owners of the new iPhone, have fun for all of you.
