"Don’t buy the cheap ear-clip headphones. It’ll hurt your ears"
I didn’t think Philips was a cheap class, but it was indeed low price… So, the 3rd headphones I bought was Sennheiser PMX 100. I heard a lot of good thing about Sennheiser, how they precisely produce a great quality of sound.
I bought this from E-Bay this time, for $27. Pretty cheap since it’s in open-retail packaging (the display model). At least it’s not fake compared to many counterfeits items for Sennheiser CX series (I just knew that last night =D).
So, here’s the quick spec:
My score for this headphones: 8/10
I was really glad with its performance, everything is crisp and clear, whether for bass or in detailed levels. The main problem is still on the design. My ear lobes still can’t resist from the numbness, after above an hour of usage. It’s way more comfortable than previous Philips, but looks like it’s me who can’t deal with this thing.
It’s lightweight indeed, and holds a good grip on your ear. The foam is pretty comfortable. One good thing, I can lean those pair on my ear without hooking the clip on my lobe. It’s not getting loose, even the HALO is circling behind your neck.
However, the hooks are still scratching your ears sometimes, and it just annoying.
Sennheiser PX 100 jumps into my consideration. It’s basically have the same performance with this PMX 100, except it’s not a back-neck design but over the head. I believe there will be no problem with it.
Actually, not only PX 100. I’m still have several products that I want to try — I purchased Sennheiser HD 202 last night from Amazon. A full-closed headphones, which has a good review from Newegg. I can’t wait for it to come, and looks like my journey still goes on~
